To provide an optical three-dimensional measuring apparatus which is operated easily by a person concerned with a dental treatment and by which individual dental members in all shapes can be measured.
The optical measuring apparatus for a dental object comprises an object receptacle (18) which holds an object to be measured and which is mounted to be rotatable, a projector (11) which is used to project an assembled illumination pattern onto the object to be measured, a detection unit (12) which detects an illumination structure projected onto the object to be measured, and an evaluation unit (20) which evaluates a spatial structure of the object to be measured. The object receptacle (18) is installed additionally so as to be capable of being swiveled around a swivel shaft (B) arranged at right angles to a shaft (A). The object receptacle (18) has a plurality of holes in prescribed patterns used to mount a holding means used to hold the object to be measured.
