PURPOSE: To provide an optical measuring instrument shortened in measuring time.
CONSTITUTION: A light source 1 for generating a pulse light or a continuous light of (m) kinds of wavelength is connected with an optical switch 3 with (m) pieces of light source optical fibers 2, and (m) pieces of irradiation optical fibers 4 protruded from the optical switch 3 for varying a connecting state of the light source optical fiber 2 and the irradiation optical fiber 4 are arranged around an examinee 5. In the periphery of the examinee 5, (n) pieces of detection optical fibers 6 are arranged and each terminal part is connected to a spectroscope 7, and from the spectroscope 7, (m)×(n) pieces of detecting signal optical fibers 8 are protruded and each terminal part is connected to a photodetector 9. The optical switch 3, the spectroscope 7 and the photodetector 9 are controlled by a controller 11, measured data is recorded in a storage device 10 and a result of measurement and an image are displayed on a display device 12. Accordingly, secular change of the substance quantity in the examinee can be measured by a simple device constitution.
