Abstract:
To provide an optical member capable of suppressing damage caused by autoclave processing and a cleaning operation, and a manufacturing method of an optical member.
A manufacturing method of an optical member includes: a deposition step of depositing an oxide coating film comprising a single predetermined element or a component mixed with the predetermined element to an outer peripheral surface of an optical member in the thickness of 20 nm or more and 1000 nm or less; and a hydrothermal treatment step for applying a hydrothermal treatment to the optical member on which the oxide coating film is deposited under high-temperature and high-pressure of 250°C or more and 4.5 atm or more.
