Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member and a method for manufacturing the optical member that suppresses adhesion to other members and suppresses glare of a displayed image, and a surface light source device, an image source unit and a liquid crystal display device using the optical member.SOLUTION: The optical member includes: a light-transmitting sheet type main body; a light-controlling layer disposed on one surface side of the main body and having a plurality of convex unit optical elements arrayed on a surface opposite to the main body side; and an adhesion preventive layer disposed on the other surface of the main body part. The adhesion preventive layer has a concavo-convex structure described below and having a ten-point average roughness Rz of 1.0 μm or more on a surface opposite to the main body side: the concavo-convex structure includes a plurality of projections each having a peak portion that is formed of a part of a spherical surface and has an average radius of curvature of 0.5 μm or more and less than 5 μm; and the projections include such a projection having a surface profile formed by combining two or more parts of spherical surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
