Abstract:
To provide an optical module with which it is possible to realize an extended life.SOLUTION: An optical module comprises: a plurality of light-receiving/emitting units 25A, 25B, 25C for receiving or transmitting light; a common electrode 28A to which the plurality of light-receiving/emitting units 25A, 25B, 25C are electrically connected in parallel; a photoelectric conversion element 20 having a wiring 28B for connecting the common electrode 28A and a terminal 23; an optical fiber 30, one end of which is fixed to the photoelectric conversion element 20; and a light transmissive resin 41 which is an optical coupling member arranged in the photoelectric conversion element 20 so as to optically couple the plurality of light-receiving/emitting units 25A, 25B, 25C and a core 31 of the optical fiber 30. The electrical length from one light-receiving/emitting unit 25A among the plurality of light-receiving/emitting units 25A, 25B, 25C to the connecting part of the common electrode 28A and the wiring 28B is shorter than the electrical length from all other light-receiving/emitting units 25B, 25C to the connecting part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
