Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module of which the positional relation between an optical element and an optical transmission member is adjusted with accuracy without deteriorating the optical element, and the coupling efficiency is high, and further the reliability of the optical element or the like is increased.
SOLUTION: For example, the optical element 2 and an optical transmission anchor block 3a are stuck on a substrate 1, and the optical element 2 is coupled to the optical transmission member 3, which 3 is stuck to the optical transmission anchor block 3a. In this invention, the substrate 1 has a through-hole 13 between the optical element sticking part 16 and the optical transmission member sticking part 17.
