Abstract:
The module has two light sources i.e. LEDs (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), arranged facing two faces of a lens (4). Controlling elements (17, 19) controls lighting-up of one of the light sources of two light sources independently of the other light source. The light sources exhibit a light emission axis passing through the lens, and are arranged such that beams enter the lens directly. The lens exhibits a line of foci on which two light sources are located, where the lens exhibits a light output face comprising an elliptical-shaped cross section in a vertical plane. The two faces are a flat vertical rear face (18) and a vertical front face (20). The beams are a low beam, a high beam, a fog beam, daytime running beam and daytime running light (DRL).
