Title:
OPTICAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2705632
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain an optical network communication system capable of extending the total distance of a transmission line and increasing the total number of nodes.
CONSTITUTION: Optical signals from preceding 1st to (n-1) th nodes 11 to 1n-1 are respectively inputted to 2nd to n-th nodes 12 to 1n through optical fibers 21 to 2n-1, electric signals obtained from these optical signals by photoelectric conversion and modulated waves obtained by modulating base barad signals BB2 to BBn by respective modulators are applied to respective multiplexers to execute frequency-divided multiplication(FDM). Respective FDM signals are opto-electrically converted into optical signals, which are outputted. The degree of optical modulation of the 1st node 11 is the largest and the degrees of optical modulations of the 2nd to n-th nodes 12 to in are set up so as to be gradually reduced in accordance with approach to a center 3. Internal BEFs in the 2nd to n-th nodes 12 to in remove noises in prescribed frequency bands of which center frequency bands are the carrier frequency bands of respective self-nodes.
