Title:
OPTICAL NEURAL COMPUTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH049014
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the arithmetic time from becoming long by generating a statistical noise when a monitor means detects a local minimum state and varying the threshold value of a transmissivity distribution and/or threshold value process by an information matrix. CONSTITUTION:A neutron has light emitting means 1 and 1', information matrices 2 and 2', light receiving means 3 and 3', threshold processing means 4 and 4', and an arithmetic means 5, which monitors the arithmetic state according to the outputs of light emitting element arrays 7 and 7'. When the local minimum state is detected, the arithmetic means 5 generates the statistical noise, which is applied to the information matrix and/or information matrix 2' to vary the transmissivity distribution, thereby existing from the local minimum state. The statistical noise may be applied even by threshold value processing means 4 and 4' or applied to the both. Consequently, the arithmetic time is prevented from becoming long.
