Abstract:

To provide an optical performance evaluating device of lens array which is easy to manage, to handle and is capable of correspond easily to the change of the inspection conditions and to evaluate optical performance of a simplex lens array with high accuracy.

This optical performance evaluating device of lens array comprises a pinhole array 12, which is placed opposed to a lens face of a lens array 10 to be tested, an illuminating system 14 to illuminate an inspection light from behind the pinhole array to the lens array, and a light-shielding system 20 which has a slit 16 and a light-shielding element 18 and is placed opposed to the other lens face of the lens array. The pinhole array is provided with many pinholes 30 are formed in regular pattern on a shielding film 28 on a transparent board 26. At least the light-intercepting system is moved relatively to the lens array to measure the light quantity distribution of a space image. The pinhole array may be either a structure with many pinholes arranged straightly on a long board or a structure with many pinholes arranged in a circle on a pivoting disc.
