Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately converge each reflected light beam of multibeams from an optical disk onto a photodetector.
CONSTITUTION: The condensing lens group, which converges the reflected light beams, is constituted by a condensing lens 10 and a cylindrical lens 11. The lenses 10 and 11 are independently provided in a freely moveable manner along the optical axes of the reflected beams. Moreover, the normal direction of the lens 11 is set to the rotational direction with respect to the tilt of the light beams on an optical disk D so that the beam rotation made by the lens 11 is offset.
