An optical pickup device is composed of a movable part which has an object lens 17 and a fixed part which supports the movable part elastically. In order to support the movable part and the fixed part at upper and lower end parts and left and right end parts by an elastic supporting frame, the movable part and the fixed part are linked with a reinforcing rectangular frame with linking pieces 36-39 (36'-39') therebetween. The linking pieces of the elastic supporting frame which are attached to the upper side of the movable part and the linking pieces of the elastic supporting frame which are attached to the lower side of the movable part are cut at different positions. If the upper cut positions are different from the lower cut positions, the cut end surface of the linking piece is not brought into contact with a cutting blade by the vertical stroke of the cutting blade. As a result, even if the supporting frame connected to the linking pieces is very slender and thin, an excessive stress is not applied to the supporting frame and the breakage of the frame can be avoided.
