To provide an optical power generating mechanism applicable to a road facilities, stably and independently generating electric power, unnecessary to receive backup power from a power supply network, and miniaturized; and to provide a display system using it.

This display system includes: an organic thin film optical generating element 3 disposed on the inside surface of a wall balustrade 2 erected on the side of a road 1; and a delineator 4 disposed on the upper end of the balustrade 2. On receiving light from a headlight of a vehicle C, the organic thin film optical power generating element 3 generates electric power, and on receiving the electric power, an LED 42 of the delineator 4 emits light.
