Abstract:
To provide an optical product having a film of a minute rugged structure, that pertains to a material other than aluminum and its compounds, and a method for easily manufacturing this optical product.SOLUTION: An optical product 1 comprises a substrate 2 and an optical film 4 formed on its deposition surface F. The optical film 4 includes an Al2O3 layer 12, made of Al2O3, which is arranged on the substrate 2 side, and a SiO2 layer 14, made of SiO2, which has a minute rugged structure. A method for manufacturing the optical product 1 includes a step for forming on the substrate 2 a production intermediate film based on Al which is aluminum, an aluminum alloy or an aluminum compound, and a step for immersing the substrate 2, with the production intermediate film based on Al attached thereto, in an aqueous solution of silica. Concentration of silica in the aqueous solution is 10 mg/l or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
