Title:
OPTICAL RADIO COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3835311
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient communication by preventing the collision of optical line transmission application signals between a plurality of sets of optical radio communication equipment on terminal sides in a one-to-N optical radio communication system.
SOLUTION: In optical radio communication equipment on a terminal side for performing semi-duplex optical communication with optical radio communication equipment connecting to a trunk network in order to realize communication between the trunk network and the terminal, a carrier sensing means 38 detects a free optical line notifying signal EP showing there is a free communication line from a signal received from the optical radio communication equipment on the trunk side, and a controlling means (transmission application enabled time determining means) 27 determines whether time has passed more than prescribed time from transmission timing at which the optical radio communication equipment on the trunk side transmitted the free optical line notifying signal EP. When it is determined that time has passed more than the prescribed time, an optical line transmission application signal RQ notifying that a frame from the terminal is transmitted to the optical radio communication equipment on the trunk side is prevented from being transmitted.
