Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the omission of read-out image information and the generation of a black line by constituting a reduction lens so as to be rotated and adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A lens holder 20a, which supports a zoom lens 20 and is contained in a supporting stand 13, is rotatably pivoted through right and left supporting shafts 30. They lie between a front main point H and a back main point H' at the magnification N of the zoom lens 20, and is arranged so as to orthogonally intersect with the optical axis of the lens in a rotation center position P in which an image on a read position O(11) can be formed in the light receiving position of an optical read element 8 through an optical axis 101 or 102 even if the lens rotates. If the zoom lens 20 is altered to the other magnification, an adjusting screw 32 is turned to rotate the zoom lens 20 in the direction of an arrow C, and the deviation amount DELTA5 of the read position can be zero.
