Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate and low-cost optical receiver.
SOLUTION: This optical receiver is provided is provided with an optical clock generating light source generating optical clock pulses, a first optical saturable absorber outputting a photoelectric current based on the optical clock pulses generated from the optical clock pulse generating light source and an optical input signal, a control circuit controlling the light source based on the photoelectric current outputted from the first optical saturable absorber and a second optical saturable absorber outputting an optical output signal based on the optical clock pulses generated from the light source and the optical input signal.
