Abstract:
To provide an optical receiving device and method capable of avoiding deterioration of security by eliminating a unilateral deviation applied to each of a plurality of photodetectors.
The optical receiving device for receiving a modulated optical pulse has a plurality of optical detection means (APD0, APD1, and PD1 to PD4) for detecting an optical pulse in accordance with a modulated state of the optical pulse, and control means (203 and 502) for controlling effective time domains (G0, G1, and W1 to W4) of the plurality of optical detection means so as to have different widths, respectively.
