Title:
OPTICAL RECEPTION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06232647
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an optical reception circuit having a broad band optical reception sensitivity and an excellent S/N characteristic.

CONSTITUTION: A photodiode 21 is used to convert an optical signal into a photoelectric current. The photoelectric current produced in the photodiode 21 is given to a coil 22 and the current is resonated at a prescribed high frequency f0 by a capacitive component of the photodiode 21 and an inductive component of the coil 22. The photoelectric current inputted via the coil 22 is amplified by an amplifier 23 over a wide frequency band including the high frequency component. The broad band amplifier 23 is formed in a package and the frequency response characteristic is made flat by a frequency characteristic correction circuit 24.
