PURPOSE: To control a distance between bogies and prevent radio interference by receiving the electromagnetic waves from controllers provided on individual bogies by means of controllers provided on individual article shelves and also forming a network to a host computer, and sending the desired information to respective bogies.
CONSTITUTION: Retrieval indicators 1 are fitted to respective storage sections 8a in response to articles 8b stored on article shelves 8, and the course to the article shelf 8 storing the desired article 8b and information are displayed on the monitor of each bogie 10 via a bogie computer 13. The bogie 10 is moved accordingly, and the desired article shelf retrieval information is sent from a bogie controller 14 to a zone controller provided on the article shelf 8. It is also sent to a host computer 12, and the desired information is sent from the host computer 12 based on the article shelf retrieval information to the bogie controller 14 via the zone controller 11 of the desired article storage shelf 8 and displayed. The retrieval can be easily controlled with no radio interference.
