Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration of a reflection mirror, and to prevent degradation of image quality.SOLUTION: An optical scanner includes: a rotary polygon mirror 211 which deflects a laser beam emitted from a light source 219; a reflection mirror 213 having a reflection surface for reflecting the laser beam deflected by the rotary polygon mirror 211; mirror support mechanisms 230, 232 for holding the reflection mirror 213 at both longitudinal ends of the reflection mirror 213; a reflection mirror 214 having a reflection surface for reflecting a laser beam reflected by the reflection mirror 213; a mirror support mechanism for holding the reflection mirror 214 at both longitudinal ends of the reflection mirror 214; a connection member 231 which connects the reflection mirror 213 with the reflection mirror 214 between the mirror support mechanisms arranged at both ends of the reflection mirrors 213, 214; and an optical box 220 which includes the mirror support mechanism, the light source 219, the rotary polygon mirror 211, and the reflection mirrors 213, 214 connected by the connection member 231.
