Abstract:
To provide an optical scanner for forming an image by which an excellent image is formed by making light made incident on a BD sensor incident in a stable state, and to provide its scanning method.
A control part capable of independently setting whether light is emitted by adjusting the light quantity of a laser beam source or it is emitted without adjusting the light quantity when a horizontal synchronizing signal (/BD signal) is generated is added to an image forming device provided with plural laser beam sources L1 and L2. An optical system control part 104 drives a semiconductor laser according to such setting.
