Title:
OPTICAL SCANNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3210790
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an optical scanner capable of easily correcting rotation of image plane and correcting the bend of scanning line as well even when an optical deflector, such as rotary polyhedral mirror, and an imaging reflection mirror for uniform speed scanning are used.
CONSTITUTION: This optical scanner is provided with an optical system having a light source device 1, an optical element 3 for converging the luminous flux from the light source device in the direction of sub-scanning and forming the long line image in the direction corresponding to main scanning, the optical deflector 4 for deflecting the luminous flux at a uniform angle speed by having a deflective reflection surface 4A near the imaging position of the line image and the imaging reflection mirror 6 for uniform speed scanning disposed to condense the luminous flux deflected by the optical deflector as a light spot on the surface 7' to be scanned and to scan the surface 7' to be scanned at a uniform speed by the light spot. The imaging reflection mirror 6 for uniform scanning described above is arranged by inclining the mirror around a straight line passing a point where the optical axis and a straight line orthogonal to the deflective reflection surface cross each other and intersecting orthogonally with the deflective scanning surface as an axis S of rotation (a prescribed angle γ).
