Abstract:
To provide an optical sensor that can easily mount a cable on a circuit board in a space-saving manner.SOLUTION: An optical sensor 1 comprises: a housing 2 in which a through hole 9 is formed; a cable 10 that has a plurality of wires (11, 12) obtained by covering core wires 11 by inner coats 12 and an outer coat 13 bundling the plurality of wires (11, 12); a flange 14 that integrally molds the outer coat 13 and the inner coats 12 at an end of the outer coat 13 and is formed in dimensions allowing it pass through the through hole 9; a stopper 15 that regulates a position P1 of the flange 14 with respect to the through hole 9; a cover 17 that is fixed to an outer face 2B of the housing 2 and covers a boundary part B between the through hole 9 and the flange 14; a first seal 16A that seals a gap G1 between the outer face 2B of the housing 2 and the cover 17; and a second seal 16B that seals a gap G2 between the flange 14 and the cover 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
