Abstract:
To provide an optical small-size lens in which a coating is easily and reliably applied on the lens body and which can be easily positioned when the lens is mounted in a lens barrel.
In the optical small size lens 1 having a flange part 11 formed around the lens body 10, the circumference of the flange part 11 on the plane perpendicular to the optical axis is formed into a polygonal form. Alternatively, at least two side faces of the flange part 11 are formed into straight lines in the same size as or longer than the diameter of the lens 10.
