Abstract:
To provide an optical sorter which can accurately detect defectives and foreign matters of objects to be sorted, and can improve sorting performance.SOLUTION: An optical sorter includes a chute which is inclined so as to flow down an object to be sorted, optical detection means which detects the object to be sorted in a detection position, ejector means which sorts and removes the object to be sorted on the basis of a detection result of the optical detection means. The optical detection means includes illumination means which illuminates a detection position, and imaging means which images the object to be sorted in the detection position. A slit for optical detection is arranged on the chute orthogonally to a flowing-down direction of the object to be sorted. The optical detection means images the object to be sorted flowing down on the chute by the imaging means while setting a position, on which the slit for optical detection is formed, as a detection position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
