Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical space transmitting device, which can prevent degradation in a property and can be manufactured with ease, and a manufacturing method thereof.
SOLUTION: An optical space transmitting device comprises a mold 3, which is made by molding at least a light-emitting element, a light-receiving element, and a signal processing circuit with resin; and a shielding member 5, which is mounted externally on the mold 3. The shielding member 5 comprises a projecting part 5a, which is bent from a side of the mold 3 to the front and fixed thereon.
