Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase resistance to external disturbances by electrically increasing the attenuation rate of an electromagnetic actuator having spring characteristics regarding an optical storage device for reading/writing on an optical storage medium by an actuator having an objective lens.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with an objective lens (27) for irradiating an optical storage medium 1 with a light, an actuator (2) having spring characteristics for driving the objective lens (27), a driver 4 for driving the driving coil of the actuator (2), and an objective lens driving section (5) for estimating the speed of the actuator based on both end voltages of the driving coil and a control input signal applied to the driver (4) to control the light of the objective lens following the optical storage medium, and giving a negative feedback to the control input signal.
