Abstract:
To provide an optical symbol information reading device capable of storing images in a medium occurring a reading error when the reading error is detected and serving the investigation of the factor of error, and to provide a POS system.
This two-dimensional image is collectedfrom a medium with predetermined gradations, and predetermined information added to symbol information is decoeded from the collected two-dimensional image. When it is impossible to decode the predetermined information from the two-dimensional image, the two-dimensional image is outputted to the outside.
