Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize accurate temperature measurement by fixing a photoelastic element without using bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:A photoelastic element 20 is formed of Pyrex glass in a cylindrical shape. Meanwhile, a holder 21 is formed of a metal material having the thermal expansion coefficient smaller than the thermal expansion coefficient of the Pyrex glass in a cylindrical shape. Attaching legs 22a and 22b which also serve the roles of heat conductor paths are provided in the protruding patterns at the facing positions on the outer surface of the holder 21 as a unitary body. The tip parts of the attaching legs 22a and 22b are fixed to a base 15 by welding and the like. The photoelastic element 20 is coupled and fixed in the holder 21 by a contraction fitting, e.g. shrink fitting. Therefore, the optical elastic element can be securely fixed to the holder 21, and the adhesion at the interface can be made excellent for a long period. Thus, the heat can be excellently transferred from the base 15 to the optical elastic element 20. Therefore, the accurate temperature can be measured.
