To provide an optical transceiver which is easily attached to and detached from a substrate and in which a forced load is hardly applied to an electric terminal.
With regard to an optical transceiver wherein optical components and electric components are housed in a rectangular parallelepiped case 2, an electric terminal is exposed on the bottom of the case 2 and the case 2 is held on the substrate 4 by inserting the electric terminal of the case 2 into an electric terminal provided on the substrate 4 when placing the case 2 on the substrate 4, finger plating portions 6a, 6b are formed in both side portions 2a, 2b of the case 2, the finger placing portions being inclined to turn a force applied to the side portions 2a, 2b toward a direction where the electric terminal is pulled out. Pickup forces of fingers operate upon the direction where the electric terminal is pulled out.
