Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission device capable of securing a stable amplification factor even when an optical path signal and an optical packet signal are mixed.SOLUTION: An optical transmission device includes: an optical amplification part; a first monitoring part; a second monitoring part; a specification part; and a control part. The optical amplification part amplifies an optical signal in which an optical packet signal is mixed with an optical path signal. The first monitoring part and the second monitoring part respectively monitor the power of the optical signal related to the input stage and output stage of the optical amplification part. The specification part specifies an optical packet signal section at the input stage side on the basis of the monitor result of the power of the optical signal at the input stage side, and specifies an optical packet signal section at the output stage side on the basis of the monitor result of the power of the optical signal at the output stage side. The control part compares the power in the specified optical packet signal section at the input stage side with the power in the optical packet signal section at the output stage side, and controls the amplification factor of the optical amplification part on the basis of a power difference as the result of comparison.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
