Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission equipment which resolves problem that the optimum value of a synthesis power of WDM against an optical fiber transmission path is not necessarily able to keep an optimized value by the gain wavelength dependency of an optical fiber amplifier and a dummy optical power fluctuation which are output from an optical transmission circuit.
SOLUTION: At an optical transmission equipment, an optical branching filter 11 which branches WDM into two and a feedback control circuit 12 are set between an optical fiber amplifier 8 and an optical fiber transmission path 9. The feedback control circuit 12 outputs each control signal S0 and S17 to an optical transmission circuit 4a and 4b based on the WDM which is input from the optical branching filter 11 and maintains a synthesis power of the WDM at an optimum value Pa regulating, by the control signal S0, S17, the dummy optical power of a center wavelength λ0, λ17 each of which is output from an optical transmission circuit 4a and 4b.
