Abstract:
Provided is an optical unit capable of irradiating an effective light flux. The optical unit comprises a transparent optical member (130) made of a transparent material and a reflective optical member (140). The transparent optical member (130) includes: recesses (132, 133) which are concave to accommodate an LED (125); a first outer portion (136) which is formed in a hemisphere; and a second outer portion (138) which is formed at a first edge portion of the hemisphere, and at the same time is formed to be higher than the first outer portion. The reflective optical member (140) includes an edge portion (144) having an opening the size of the first outer portion in a plane view, and a sidewall (143b) which is erected from the edge portion and is adjacent to the side surface of the second outer portion (138).
