Abstract:
To provide an optical unit having constitution which can be made compact by inserting a screw in a through-hole formed on the housing of a finder unit and tightening it in a screw hole formed on a metallic frame so that the finder unit is attached to the frame.
The finder unit 18 is attached to the frame 24 by inserting the screw 78 in the through-hole 80 formed on the housing 34 and tightening it in the screw hole 82 formed on the metallic frame 24. By making a side in which the screw 78 is tightened of metal, the unit 18 is firmly joined even when joining length is short. Thus, the unit 18 is fixed on the frame 24 by using the short screw 78, and the entire optical unit can be made compact.
