Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a routing operation in an optical wave network and to realize a high speed transfer processing by permitting an optical wave access network to convert the user packet of a terminated layer into the light wave adaptation layer.
SOLUTION: An optical wave network model is formed of the two hierarchies of optical wave access networks 15 and an optical wave core network 14. The optical wave access networks 15 is constructed by optical wave edge routers 12 connected by a wavelength pulse 18 and stores multidimensional existed networks 16 regulated by a reference model and executes the terminal processing of the layers 1-3 corresponding to the protocols of the existed networks 16. In the optical wave network data communication system, the optical wave access networks 15 convert user packet of the terminated layer 3 into the light wave adaptation layer of the layer 2 for adapting it to a synchronous digital hierarchy by using wavelength multiplex technology and transferring it to a physical layer.
