Abstract:
To provide an optical waveguide having various core diameters inside a polyimide resin that excels in heat resistance and long-term reliability, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the same.
A condensed irradiation position of a laser pulse inside a polyimide resin is continuously varied using a galvano scanner to form a part in which a refractive index is changed through the condensed irradiation of the laser pulse. Consequently, the optical waveguide having various core diameters inside the polyimide resin that excels in heat resistance and long-term reliability can be manufactured.
