Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flexibility in arrangement of detection means without attachment of a detection object such as an index mark.SOLUTION: A fluorescent wheel 101 of an optical wheel device 100 is rotationally driven by a wheel motor 110. A photointerrupter 105 is provided on a rear surface side of the fluorescent wheel 101. The fluorescent wheel 101 is provided with a fluorescent emission region 103 and a transmission region 104. The transmission region 104 can transmit an infrared ray which is light of a predetermined wavelength band emitted from the photointerrupter 105. The infrared ray is reflected at a position where the fluorescent wheel 101 corresponds to the fluorescent emission region 103, and is transmitted in the transmission region 104. Rotational speed of the wheel motor 110 is controlled in accordance with a detection timing of the photointerrupter 105, and an emission timing of the light emitted from the fluorescent wheel 101 and a drive timing for driving a display element are controlled so as to be synchronized with each other.
