Title:
OPTICAL WRITING PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61286814
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the ratio of the quantity of light of an on and an off state without limiting the wavelength range of light so that a movable thin film is applicable to a photosensitive body which has versatile spectral sensitivity characteristics by rotating the movable thin film around an axis of torsion from a balancing position by receiving electrostatic force and then transmitting and cutting off light.

CONSTITUTION: The movable thin film 25 is attracted toward a common electrode 22 with the electrostatic force which operates between a plus charge applied to the movable thin film 25 and a minus charge generated at the common electrode 22 when a voltage Vf is applied between the common electrode 22 and movable thin film 25, so that the film rotates around a support shaft 26. Then when the potential difference between the common electrode 22 and movable thin film 25 is set to zero, elastic restitutive force operates on the axis 26 of torsion and the movable thin film 25 returns to its original balancing position. At this time, a light beam F1 irradiated by a light source to an upper substrate 20 is cut off when the movable thin film 25 is at the balancing position and transmitted through a lower substrate 21 to illuminate a photosensitive body for exposure when the movable thin film 25 is at the position of rotary motion. The angle of rotation of the movable thin film 25 depends upon the potential difference Vf, so the Vf is varied to control the angle of rotation of the movable thin film 25.
