Abstract:
To provide a practical method for producing an optically active amine having adamantyl group or its salt.
This method for producing the optically active amine having the adamantyl group or its salt comprises a process of forming a diastereomer salt by reacting an amine having the adamantyl group with an optically active acidic resolving agent by (10:1) to (1:10) molar ratio, a process of precipitating at least a part of the obtained diastereomer salt and purifying to obtain a purified diastereomer salt and a process of obtaining the optically active amine having the adamantyl group from the purified diastereomer salt.
