Abstract:
To provide a new optically active dicobalt complex, and to provide a method for producing a new optically active nitro compound by asymmetric Michael reaction using the same as catalyst.
The new optically active dicobalt complex is represented by formula (I) or (I') (wherein, R0, R1, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are each H, halogen atom, 1-10C alkyl, 1-10C alkoxy; and R2 and R3 form a naphthalene ring together with a benzene ring to which they are bound, etc.). The new method for producing an optically active nitro compound by asymmetric Michael reaction using the same as catalyst is also provided.
