Abstract:

To provide a new axially asymmetric compound capable of being used as an asymmetric group-introducing assistant compound.

This optically active sulfinic acid compound is expressed by formula (1) [wherein, R1 is a 1-4C alkoxy or group expressed by formula (A) or the like, R2 is hydroxy, a halogen, a 1-4C alkoxy or the like; R3 is H, a halogen atom or the like, R4 is H or the like; R5 is the same group with that of the R4 or hydrogen; and R12 is hydroxy, a halogen atom, a 1-10C alkoxy or a substitutable amino].
