This optically anisotropic film has on a support at least one optically anisotropic layer which is formed from a composition comprising the discotic liquid-crystal compound and at least one fluorine-containing polymer, having a fluoro-aliphatic group and an amido group and which has, preferably ≤10 nm Re (intra-plane retardation value) and 60-250 nm Rth (retardation value in the thickness direction), when visible light is made incident.
