Title:
OPTICALLY MATCHED ELECTRO-OPTICAL ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0654119
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily set electric and optical elements which are optically butt jointed in appropriate spatial positions by adhering a base on the installation face of a beam splitter and adhesively connecting supporting faces to the side faces of a CCD sensor. CONSTITUTION: When the CCD sensor 26 and the like are installed on a beam splitter 33, the erected supporting members 49 and 50 of a rectangular block are provided on the upper face 28 of the sensor 26 and the like. The base 51 which is adhesively connected to the upper face 48 of the sensor is vertical against both side faces 52 and 53. In such a case, adhesive is applied on the base 51, the CCD sensor is turned over, pressure is slightly added and it is pressed on a connection face. The end parts of the supporting members freely protrude on the lateral edge 4 of the CCD sensor in the position of a cantilever and the sides 52 and 53 can freely be operated. The sensor is hardened under heat and humidity. Thus, the electric and optical elements which are optically jointed can easily be set in the appropriate spatial positions.
