Title:
OPTIMAL AND QUASI-OPTIMAL VIBRATION CONTROL METHOD INCLUDING LOW-PASS FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3509352
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable vibration of a low-degree vibration mode generated at a structure to be effectively controlled by providing a low-pass filter calculation means for reducing sensitivity to a vibration mode with its degree higher than the maximum degree and controlling target vibration to be controlled from that calculation result and the displacement and speed signal of each mass point.
SOLUTION: A vibration system of a 5-mass point system model 8 has the sixth to infinitive degree modes other than first to fifth degree vibration mode system targeted for control. Therefore, if a control system is designed by ignoring these modes, the ignored modes generates unstable spill-over. When the ignored vibration mode with the minimum degree is selected for an uncontrollable mode and the vibration mode with the next degree is selected for a non- observed vibration mode, the signals of these modes are shut down from a control loop and do not influence control. However, the higher-degree vibration mode influences control, therefore, unstable spill-over is prevented by shutting down this by means of a low-pass filter.
