Abstract:
To efficiently obtain a ground state of an Ising model.SOLUTION: An optimization apparatus 10 solves a ground state of an Ising model 1 by simulating a state change of the Ising model 1 when a magnetic field applied to the Ising model 1 representing a problem to be solved is reduced. The optimization apparatus 10 executes first processing that is real time propagation in which intensity of the magnetic field applied to the Ising model 1 is reduced with progress of time in simulation when solving the ground state of the Ising model 1. The optimization apparatus 10 also executes second processing for reducing energy of the Ising model 1 on the basis of an imaginary time propagation method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
