Title:
OPTIMIZED MAGNETIZING METHOD FOR SUPERCONDUCTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006066801
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an optimized magnetizing method for a superconductor which can magnetize entrapping magnetic field with strong strength in a short period of time.

In the magnetization method, a magnetization coil is held in the vicinity of a bulk superconductor cooled to lower than the superconducting transition temperature, and the bulk superconductor is magnetized by a pulse magnetic field generated by means of the magnetization coil. The magnetic field waveform of the pulse magnetic field has a magnetization increasing stage which controls so that the ratio of an increase of magnetic field strength to a time is reduced, a magnetization stage which holds in a given time period in a high magnetic field area, where a line of magnetic induction can be trespassed into the bulk superconductor, and a magnetization decreasing stage which controls so that the ratio of the decrease with respect to the magnetic field strength is reduced with respect to time.
