Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve stability and responsibility in a multivariable control process like a photographic emulsion manufacture process by expressing the state of the process or development as an equation and performing arithmetic control by using the model in expressed as the equation. CONSTITUTION:A set X(k) of estimated values of silver concentration in a solution, etc., is outputted from a plant model 3 and inputted to an arithmetic control part 1, which performs feed-forward control so that the set X(k) of estimates concentration values is equal to a command YM(k). Namely, the arithmetic control part calculates U'(k) (set of plural input values including a secular change) which minimizes an evaluation function J(k) and then calculates a manipulated variable UC(k) (column vector in a row S expressed by S elements) corresponding to it. This calculated manipulated variable UC(k) is applied to an actual plant 2 to control a crystal growing process of silver halide to an optimum state.
