Abstract:

To provide an optimum tunnel support selecting device and an optimum tunnel support selecting program, allowing an optimum tunnel support to be selected.

An optimum tunnel support selecting device selects an optimum tunnel support. The tunnel excavation release force is gradually applied for the calculation of stress generated in a steel support on the basis of axial force and bending moment. When the stress generated in the steel support is determined to be equal to or larger than the yield stress, the rigidity of the steel support is reduced such that the stress generated in the steel support becomes equal to the yield stress. Considering the effect of reduction in rigidity, stress generated in sprayed concrete and tunnel displacement are calculated. In the case that the stress generated in the sprayed concrete is determined to be equal to or larger than an allowable stress, or in the case that the tunnel displacement is determined to be equal to or larger than an allowable displacement, a support pattern which can further ensure the soundness of the tunnel is selected from a plurality of support patterns stored in a support pattern data base.
