Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a higher-quality picture and also to stably make use of the entire device by preventing a remarkable difference from occurring in characteristics between a plurality of optoelectronic devices constituting a projection type display device.
SOLUTION: The optoelectronic device held in the packaging case is equipped with the packaging case (601) consisting of a plate part (610) and a cover part (620) and holding at least a part of a peripheral area positioned on the periphery of a picture display area on a liquid crystal panel (500) by at least either the plate or the cover so that the electrooptical device is housed. What has a plurality of different shapes exists as either the plate or the cover and can be all attached to/detached from the other of the plate or the cover.
